Paintings are painted outddors with oilpaint in Grez-sur-Loing, south of Paris
at the Fontainebleau forest. The artist spent two wintermonths in 2002 in Hôtel Chevillon painting in a studio and outdoors. After the daily work in the studio, the artist had the opportunity to walk to the neighboring village to take the commuter train to Paris to visit museums such as the Orangery and the Louvre. At the museums, the artist was particularly fascinated by M. Cezanne's works.
